The latter marked her international breakthrough as part of the backing bands for the legendary musical genius Prince, serving as his first-call bassist until his passing in 2016.
Since then, this extraordinary bassist has risen to become one of the world's leading bass players, as evidenced by numerous listings on prestigious "best of" charts, and she continues to successfully tour the globe.
Her 2023 album More Sauce, Please! marks a return to her roots in hard-hitting, dry funk music, while still incorporating elements of reggae, neo-soul, and world music.
