Reading on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of the war in Berlin
in 1946, pupils from all the schools in the former district of Prenzlauer Berg wrote home essays about the bombing raids, the battle for Berlin and the immediate end of the war.The result is an impressive contemporary document from the perspective of children and young people, which was published by Annett Gröschner in 1996.
