Brigitte Oytoy, the provincial queer in urban exile, knows no mercy: Ms. Oytoy wreaks havoc whenever the opportunity presents itself. Whether as a queer rat mother or a singing and lyric-writing all-rounder, the stage is her home, and any space even remotely illuminated by a spotlight is an invitation.
The Rat der Ranzigen has been organizing various queer drag variety shows in Berlin since 2018, including Schangelig – The Show at SchwuZ, Stößchen (Stößchen) at the Pepsi Boston Bar, and Die Große Winkprobe (The Big Wink Probe) and Das Fummelcabaret (The Fummel Cabaret) at the Volksbühne's Red Salon.
