with Dr. Bettina Bouresh and Claudia Wasow-Kania
On this day, the Horticultural School invites interested residents from the neighborhood to a spring festival and provides information about its work and offerings. At first glance, the grounds appear to be a park, but they have a complex history: from 1942 to 1945, a large forced labor camp was located here.
Visitors to the Krumpuhler Weg Historical Site can take part in a historical tour of the site as part of the spring festival, which is offered every hour on the hour.
The museum – a former warehouse building – now houses an information and memorial room. Visitors can learn more about the site's history at the discussion station.
