A glittering ball night at Charlottenburg Palace
Experience a glittering ball night like in Prussian rococo. The Great Orangery is the center of social life at the court of Charlottenburg Palace.
Courtoisie, chivalrous politeness, is demonstrated in the dancing of the courtiers. With this in mind, Master of Ceremonies Count Friedrich Sebastian Truchsess von Waldburg is delighted to invite you to a dance ball at this beautiful venue.
The renowned dance master Birte Hoffmann-Cabenda has been involved with dances from different centuries for decades and regularly conducts historical balls.
The ensemble Les Matelots performs on historical instruments and specializes in historical improvisation and dance music from the 16th-18th centuries. In a free workshop for ball guests in the Orangerie on 01.02.25 from 12-14 o'clock, the dance master will introduce the dances of the evening, beginners are very welcome.
Please wear appropriate (historical) attire when entering the ball. Changing facilities in the cabinet. Please refrain from solo performances or presentations by dance groups.
Photography/filming is only intended and permitted in certain sections of the event. On request, our partner ART IS offers two variations of food. Please pre-order this when purchasing your ticket in the “Tafelrunde” or “Friedrich II.” categories (vegetarian options also available).
