The new exhibition Heaven on Earth presents recent works as well as selected works from the last few decades and marks the 30th anniversary of the freelance artist Susanne Rikus. For ten years, the gallery has been located in the Heckmann Höfe in Berlin-Mitte.

On this occasion, art historian Dr. Ingrid Gardill writes:
‘Grace and dignity, but also sensual ecstasy, power and lightness can be seen and felt in the female bodies. Susanne Rikus wants to remind visitors of the exhibition of this feminine, pioneering power, to share it with them and celebrate it.
In dreamy and at the same time clear and fresh colours, she presents the theme in four acrylic paintings, some of them large-format, from the series ‘Temple of Women’, where priestesses or women of worship move serenely and completely freely in their sacred space, dancing, praying and making music.
Susanne Rikus paints them intuitively and rather suggestively, in order to keep spaces open. The title alludes not only to the cult space outside, but also to the female body as a temple in which the divine resides.’
