Hexenberg Ensemble
Curtain up for the most famous of all theatrical dramas: Shakespeare's Hamlet. Because this classic must be on the Hexenberg Ensemble's repertoire. This time, Peter Kaempfe and Gabriele Blum have adapted the venerable master's infamous tragedy for three people in twelve roles.
Everyone has their turn, and so it becomes a lively ménage à trois with Carsta Zimmermann, Michael Schwager, and Vlad Chiriac at the court of Helsingør. While this may be madness, there's also method to it: happiness and misfortune, humor and seriousness, and love and hate collide, offering a brilliant rollercoaster of emotions.
The Hexenberg Ensemble relies on its fast-paced acting and the power of Shakespeare's imagery. 90 minutes of focus on the dazzling Danish prince in the realm of doubt. This is their Hamlet. Without question.
Directed by Gabriele Blum and Peter Kaempfe
