The singer and actor Gustav Peter Wöhler and his band have been on stage together for twenty-five years. The actor's current "second mainstay" is preceded by a lifelong passion: Even as a child, Gustav Peter Wöhler loved to entertain guests with the jukebox in his parents' inn near Herford, and later appeared out of pure passion in the canteen of the Hamburg Schauspielhaus.

The Gustav Peter Wöhler Band has existed in its current line-up since 2008; In addition to frontman Gustav Peter Wöhler, bassist Olaf Casimir, guitarist Mirko Michalzik and Kai Fischer play grand piano and keyboards. With their very own arrangements of classics and discoveries from pop and rock, the former Hamburg insider tip has continuously gained nationwide fame, and the quartet's honest, passionate music-making inspires people everywhere.
The quartet's program includes a constantly changing collection of personal favorite songs. In a proven manner, the program builds bridges between stars and one-hit wonders, classics and personal discoveries. The spectrum ranges from Joe Jackson to Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell to Rio Reiser and June Carter. The titles are framed by very personal stories from Gustav Peter Wöhler - the audience thanks them with a standing ovation!
