The puppet and mask collection is the heart and memory of the Department of Contemporary Puppetry. It was built up over several decades, is constantly being expanded and is an indispensable part of regular study operations.

During the tour of the puppet collection, which lasts around 1 hour, visitors not only get an impression of the historical inventory, they also learn what contemporary puppetry actually is - what makes this art form so appealing and where the "magic" that comes from puppets and objects begins.

The tour of the collection also offers prospective students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the genre, so that they may soon be able to bring the figures waiting in the collection to life themselves.

You will be guided through the puppet and mask collection by a team of lecturers and students from the Department of Contemporary Puppetry.

The number of participants is limited to 15 people.
