The singers with powerful voices perform the pieces with an intoxicating clarity, which means that the concert, thanks to its musical precision and the pure songs of the choir, invites you to switch off and escape from everyday life in a wonderful way.
The outstanding thing about this choir is that it enriches the early medieval Gregorian chants with pop songs and completely revitalizes and interprets them.
“The Gregorian Voices” impressively arrange famous classics of pop music in the Gregorian style. Even with this daring experiment, they trigger overwhelming reactions in the audience: “intense, stirring, outstanding or astonishing” are exclamations that can often be heard.
Hearing Rod Steward’s “I’m Sailing” in a sacral modulation is an emotional experience. “Imagine”, a well-known song by John Lennon, also receives accurate and consistent applause alongside “Ameno” by ERA.
A firework display of pure joy and dynamism without any instrumental accompaniment fascinates the international audience. THE GREGORIAN VOICES offer a breathtaking concert and incomparable listening pleasure.
