On 10 May 2025, the Gebrannte Mandeln pop choir, the Clara Schumann Women's Choir and the SantJagow Choir invite you to a joint choir concert at the Martin Luther Church in Berlin-Neukölln.

Under the motto ‘Good Vibrations – Three Choirs, One Concert’, the audience can expect a varied musical programme.

The singers of the three choirs, with their different musical styles – from pop to jazz to classical – create a special atmosphere full of energy, emotion and tonal diversity. ‘Good Vibrations’ promises to be an atmospheric evening, with a focus on musical passion and harmonious cooperation.

The choirs at a glance:

The Clara Schumann Women's Choir is directed by Sandra Lugbull-Krien and regularly accompanied by an accompanist and a voice trainer. The ambitious amateur choir delights its loyal audience with a broad repertoire ranging from medieval sounds to contemporary music. They sing in many languages – including rarely heard ones such as Finnish, Swedish or Serbo-Croatian – with a particular focus on classical works.

The choir SantJagow was formed in the summer of 2000 in Jagowstraße in Berlin-Moabit and today brings together around 25 singers from all over Berlin. Under the direction of Carol Martiné, the choir presents a multi-faceted programme from different eras and cultures, with a focus on rhythmically and tonally appealing pop and jazz arrangements.

The Popchor Gebrannte Mandeln, founded in 2007, is a cross-generational, mixed choir that today forms a colourful, committed community. With its fine, often five-part pop songs – sometimes delicate, sometimes with a peppy touch – the choir regularly delights audiences with its joy of performing and musical passion. This choir is also directed by Sandra Lugbull-Krien.
