Aurum Ensemble on historical instruments
Ah, thought Bach - Bach's scale was finally found after a long search. With its help, it can now be explained how Bach was able to invent the canons of his Goldberg Variations.
In this family-friendly concert format (from 6 years to over 99 years), Johann Sebastian Bach's "Goldberg Variations" can be heard and seen twice in one concert afternoon:
In the moderated concert for the whole family, selected canons from the variation cycle are made entertaining and their different types are explained in a clear and humorous way. The audience learns the "Kraut und Rüben" canon from the Quodlibet Variation.
After a break with a small snack, the second part follows, the concert for adults, for which there is childcare with instrument making and much more.
The adults can hear the Goldberg Variations in their entirety: in the arrangement for string trio by Dmitri Sitkovetsky.
Admission: 6 euros: children, students, trainees / 12 euros: adults, 3 euros: Berlinpass at the box office
