In the summer, the stage will be dominated by the blue and yellow fist again when Gogol Bordello comes to Berlin again. Led by Eugene Hütz, actor, singer, guitarist, frontman and chief ideologist, the band is known not only for their rousing party anthems, but also for their political messages.

Since 1999, Gogol Bordello has been moving people around the world with their unique mix of rough punk and Eastern European gypsy swing. Hütz, with Ukrainian and Russian roots, uses music to convey his feelings of anger, sadness and hope regarding the Ukrainian conflict and the global state.

He calls his most recent album from 2022, “Solidaritine,” the fuel for compassion and human potential in turbulent times. The latest album marks a remarkable return to the music collective's aggressive, loud and direct roots and underlines its position as one of the most exciting and distinctive bands in the world.
