Guitarist and producer Godriguez has brought together some of the best musicians of the new generation in Sydney: a high priest of the Cuban Ifa religion, the stepson of the greatest Australian funk and soul musician of all time, Australia's leading drummer of this new generation, and a deeply emotionally gifted pianist from New Zealand. These diverse backgrounds culminate in incredibly sensitive musical and emotional connections, forming GODTET.

Their backgrounds are as diverse as their personalities, but it is the listening skills and chemistry between the distinctive members that explains why the sum of GODTET is greater than the sum of their parts.
GODTET released their debut, GODTET I, in late 2017, which was hailed as "Album of the Year" by House Shoes (Street Corner Music). Their second LP, GODTET II (2018) and the Suite EP (2020), further blur the lines between modern sample-based production and a reactive band. In 2020 they released the LP GODTET III, closely followed by the LP MEDITATIONS (2021), an extension of their performance at the Sydney Opera House.
