The Giant Rooks' attitude is cosmopolitan, just like their sound. The five musicians write bright, euphoric pop songs with just the right touch of knowing melancholy.
In 2015, singer Frederik Rabe, guitarist Finn Schwieters, bassist Luca Göttner, keyboardist Jonathan Wischniowski and drummer Finn Thomas formed Giant Rooks. Since then, the band has developed with giant steps and it's hard to imagine the German music scene without them.
In 2019, they were already presented with the 1LIVE Crown Promotion Award as well as the Pop Culture Award in the category Most Hopeful Newcomer. In 2020, the indie pop band released their debut album "Rookery".
