Rebellion and Destruction in the Stroop Report
In the global culture of remembrance of the Holocaust, individual photos of the so-called Stroop report on the final destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto and the suppression of the Jewish uprising are widely present.
The comprehensive overall document by Warsaw SS and police leader Jürgen Stroop, on the other hand, has received comparatively little attention. It consists of a report on the suppression of the uprising, the daily reports written from April 20 to May 16, 1943, and a collection of photos.
