Under the motto ‘Viva Vivaldi!’, selected concerti from the Venetian baroque composer's oeuvre will be on the programme in February, conducted by Gottfried von der Goltz (violin & conductor). Since the end of 1985, the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra has been working with the self-image of an ensemble dedicated entirely to historically informed performance practice - a unique musical success story that has been rewarded with numerous prizes.
