An evening to strengthen resilience
What strengthens you in difficult times? What gives you strength, what gives you confidence? Do you have a text or piece of music that is important to you personally? These questions were asked to numerous artists and cultural workers.

The answers came promptly, including from director and artistic director Johan Simons, Federal Minister of Culture Claudia Roth, author and talk show host Michel Friedmann, actor Jens Harzer.
The enfant terrible of the German art scene, Jonathan Meese, wrote his own text, and the legendary sculptor Erwin Wurm wrote his own word sculpture.
In this edition of Freiboxen, the voices of the project meet texts and positions from the DT ensemble. They are accompanied by Luca Hohmann on the piano, drummer Marcel Braun and photographs by Claudia Neuhaus, which were created for the master class at the Ostkreuz School of Photography.
An evening by and with Manuel Harder to strengthen resilience beyond simple calendar sayings.
Voices of Confidence emerged from a cooperation between the Passau European Weeks Festival and the Athanor Academy of Performing Arts.
The premiere took place in July 2024 in the crypt of the Study Church in Passau.
