The piano duo Sabina vom Dorff and Reinhard Kiauka began their concert activities in 1991 and made their debut at the international music festival weeks in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Together they completed numerous master classes at home and abroad and were prize winners at the international music competition in Stresa (Italy) as well as first prize winners at the international piano competition “Le Muse” in Cava de' Tirreni (Naples). This was followed by radio recordings for the WDR Cologne programs “Mosaik” and “Music Scene West”.

Sabina vom Dorff works as a freelance artist and teaches piano and singing at the music school in Berlin. She studied piano with Prof. Carmen Daniela at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf and singing with Monika Fey and Prof. Barbara Schlick at the Cologne/Wuppertal University of Music.

Reinhard Kiauka also studied conducting with Prof. Wolfgang Trommer and piano with Udo Falkner at the Robert Schumann University. In 1994 he completed his Kapellmeister studies with distinction and has been the head of the Staff Music Corps of the Bundeswehr Berlin since 2014. With this orchestra he regularly appears at ceremonial state occasions as well as at large benefit concerts (Berlin Philharmonic, Konzerthaus, Berlin Cathedral).

The married couple Sabina vom Dorff and Reinhard Kiauka live in Berlin Hermsdorf with their son Ingmar, who has been receiving musical training in cello and drums since 2011.
