Mentorships for Audacious Minds

Choreography - Design - Photography - Visual Arts - Documentary Film - Voice Art: The international and transdisciplinary mentorship program "Forecast" is starting its ninth edition with the "Forecast Forum".

As part of workshops, performances and showcases, creative minds from all over the world will present their pioneering projects and ideas in the Radialsystem from August 2nd to 4th, 2024.

From more than 1,100 applications worldwide, the six renowned mentors of the Forecast Edition 2024/25 have each invited three nominees to present their artistic projects.

On three action-packed days, boundaries between disciplines and genres will be challenged, questioned and transcended through performances and innovative artistic strategies in the exchange between mentors and the 18 nominees.

At the end of the forum, the mentors will each select a project that they will accompany until spring. These six projects will be presented at the "Forecast Festival" in March 2025 in the Radialsystem.

This year’s mentoring team consists of composer and performer Ute Wassermann (Germany), documentary filmmaker Tomer Heymann (Israel), visual artist Theo Eshetu (UK), choreographer Alice Ripoll (Brazil), photographer Lieko Shiga (Japan) and designer Fiona Raby (UK).
