The five members - Louis Parsons, Ashlee Kehoe, Archie Shannon, Joe Draffen and Sarah Hellyer - had known each other for several years when, after a long night in the legendary Melbourne pub "The Tote Hotel" in 2018, they decided to finally realize their idea of forming a band.

Floodlight
The newcomers earned just enough from their first performances to travel to the world's largest music showcase festival in Texas, where they were promptly signed by a major international label. What sounds like the naive dream of many young bands became reality for the Australian rock band Floodlights.
Floodlights know how to combine atmospheric and political lyrics with an energetic sound - their charismatic mix of post-punk, indie rock and folk is unique. They also bring their infectious energy to the stage, along with authentic emotional moments. A Floodlights concert is an unforgettable live experience.
In the fall, the Australians will also come to Berlin for a show as part of their European tour
