41 years ago, the dance film Flashdance celebrated worldwide cinema success. In 2024, after two successful years on tour, the successful musical is going back on tour through Germany and Austria. In September, the captivating musical with its global hits will also take to the stage in Berlin.

The captivating story of FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL takes us into the life of a young woman in Pittsburgh. Alex Owens works in a steelworks by day and as a dancer in a bar by night. But her biggest dream is actually to become a recognised professional dancer. First she falls in love with her boss Nick Hurley, then her dream could come true with an audition at the prestigious academy.
But a shadow soon falls over her happiness and Alex has to make a decision: How much is she willing to give up for her dream? A strong woman at the centre of the story, who works hard for her dream and dances and lives her very own style.
