Fischer-Z are one of the most important and successful British post-punk bands in Europe and are on a par with legends such as Depeche Mode and The Cure. Frontman John Watts combines the down-to-earth nature of a man of the people with the rebellious attitude of an outsider - a combination that has shaped his extraordinary career.
Their current album Triptych embodies this complexity and presents itself as a powerful snapshot of the present. With the anarchic steam punk of the title track Triptych, the ghostly Motown rhythm of When Love Goes Wrong and the detailed storytelling of Conclusion, the album delivers songs full of creativity that inspire both in the club and on the big stage.
On their upcoming German tour, Fischer-Z will combine the best hits from the early 80s with selected pieces from the new album. Fans can look forward to a dynamic new stage show and immerse themselves in the next stage of their musical journey together with the band.
