For more than four centuries, people have been looking up at the sky with telescopes. For a long time, this was only done from the surface of this planet. In the meantime, various telescopes have also been stationed out in space, opening many more "windows into space". One of the most important instruments is the Hubble Space Telescope.
For more than three decades, this telescope has fascinated mankind with great insights and fantastic images. Its successor is the James Webb telescope. Arriving at its destination in early 2022, those interested expect an even deeper look into the universe. This event not only tells the story of these telescopes, but also shows what scientific information people can gain from the colorful images of planets, stars and galaxies.
