Gastkonzert
The Feininger Trio feels closely connected to its namesake, the painter, graphic artist, and co-founder of the Bauhaus, Lyonel Feininger, both as a personality and in his work. His Berlin studio was located not far from the ensemble's rehearsal space in the Berlin-Zehlendorf district.
Adrian Oetiker (piano) and Berlin Philharmonic musicians Christoph Streuli (violin) and David Riniker (cello) perform two masterpieces by Russian composer Anton Stepanovich Arensky (1861–1906):
the Piano Trios No. 1 in D minor, Op. 32, and No. 2 in F minor, Op. 73.
