Jazz concert with Volker Schlott and Falk Breitkreuz
Soprano saxophonist Volker Schlott and bass clarinettist Falk Breitkreuz, who run Berlin's smallest, but fully functional groove unit under the name FAVO, are absolutely official musicians.

Trained at the renowned Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in the eastern part of the former Wall City, in demand as fellow musicians for celebrities such as Cecil Taylor, Mikis Theodorakis, Jocelyn B. Smith, Chaka Kahn and Udo Lindenberg, and tried and tested in countless serious music formations, from big band to symphony orchestra.
And yet Schlott and Breitkreuz have nothing against being called musicians. Quite the opposite: "What connects us is this musicality. I say that quite deliberately," explains Schlott, who covers the high frequencies at FAVO. "We understood each other without any big words and were able to play straight away. There's nothing missing."
