The first part of each concert presents works of classical music ranging from the Renaissance to the present day. The second part is devoted to contributions of popular music from various European countries - including songs, chansons, folk, pop, film music and jazz. These pieces are presented in specially arranged versions for ensemble, instrumental soloists and/or singers.

The concert cycle "Classico ma non troppo" (Classical - but not too much) includes three concerts per season and offers a varied program.

The diverse program is designed by a newly founded string orchestra of 23 young European musicians. Under the direction of conductor Daniel Pacitti, who is also responsible for some compositions and arrangements, a dynamic atmosphere is created, with Pacitti occasionally playing the bandoneon himself.

A special feature of the orchestra is the rotation within the string groups: from piece to piece, each musician takes on roles such as the first violin or the first viola.

Renowned soloists are invited to each concert. In addition, elements such as recitation, acting, dance, video art, puppetry and live drawings enhance the concert experience. A moderator guides the audience through the program.
