Rebecca Ibe, who comes from Berlin, completed her master's degree in opera singing at the University of Music and Theater Leipzig. There, under the direction of Matthias Foremny, she took on the role of Gabriel in Haydn's The Creation and the title role in Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen. In November 2024, she will be seen at the university as Susanna in Wolf-Ferrari's Il segreto di Susanna.
Rebecca Ibe made her stage debut in 2023 as the First Lady in Mozart's The Magic Flute in the Alte Spitzenfabrik Grimma. Since the 2023/24 season, she has been part of the ensemble at the Plauen-Zwickau Theater, where she interprets the roles of Adele and Ida in Johann Strauss's Die Fledermaus. In 2025 she will appear for the first time at the Halle Opera as Papagena in Mozart's The Magic Flute.
