Isabel Mundry III; Susanne Blumenthal and James Weeks, conductors

A sculpture from Ancient Egypt finds new meaning as an object on a desk. But what is its nature between familiar speech and strangeness? The question becomes the starting point for an archeology of musical archetypes. In the final part of the composer's tribute, the Phace ensemble and the Exaudi vocal group focus on perspectives on belonging and exclusion.
