The exhibition, which covers all topics related to hemp, covers almost 300 square meters. Beginning with a general presentation, in addition to growth and cultivation, harvest and pre-processing are described from a historical perspective.
It continues with the individual uses: -Dämm- and Isolierstoffe-fiber production and textile manufacturing-Zellulosenutzug and papermaking-seed use-medical options.
After being used conventionally, the importance of hemp is highlighted in different cultures around the world - from Jamaica to India. Exemplary for Berlin is Wolfgang Neuss, who is not only known to many as a post-war cabaret artist, but also as an ingenious free spirit, biting lateral thinker and convinced stoner.
Finally, the exhibition deals with the legal side of THC-containing hemp, in particular trying to unravel the current state of the law.
At the reading café, artists also have the opportunity to exhibit their works, and visitors to the museum can access theme-related videos.
In addition, a small shop offers articles and literature from and about hemp. In the showcase you can see the hemp grow.
