Coffee house concert with Kurt Wiklander (Sweden)
The Swedish composer and pianist Kurt Wiklander has been organizing so-called "lunchtime concerts" in his Scandinavian homeland for many years. At these concerts, pieces specially selected by the composer are performed in public spaces such as church parishes, small theaters, community centers, and libraries.

These musical matinees are open to all interested parties in an informal atmosphere and admission is free. Since this concept has a long and strong tradition in Sweden, Kurt Wiklander offered to hold such concerts in this library during his visits to Berlin. The library gratefully accepted the offer and established this type of event exclusively in its district.
Everyone is cordially invited to join Kurt Wiklander on a musical journey that will introduce familiar and new piano works. Kurt Wiklander will also play and present his own works at these events.
Refreshments will be provided with pastries and coffee.
