El Kuelgue was founded in Buenos Aires in 2004. They are known for their live concerts, where they mix absurdity with improvisation.

Their original stage performances under the direction of Julián Kartun have made this band an innovative top act in the Argentine and Latin American music scene.
For over 15 years, El Kuelgue has performed at the most important venues and festivals in Argentina, Latin America and Europe. In 2016, the band was chosen to open at both of Paul McCartney's shows at the Estadio Único de La Plata. In September last year, El Kuelgue played to a sold-out crowd at the legendary Luna Park Stadium in Buenos Aires.
They are currently preparing for a tour of Mexico in November and an upcoming European tour between September and October 2024. With a stop in Berlin.
