Säälchen and Cumbia Fest Berlin invite you to the last dance of the year!
A circle is closed and everyone comes together to leave the past behind. Together we will move into the future, accompanied by dance until the new sun appears on the horizon.
With Cumbia and Latin beats, the night glides into the morning and creates a colourful, timeless space.
The evening can be enjoyed on the grounds of the Holzmarkt before midnight, when the New Year is welcomed in the garden, directly on the banks of the Spree, with a glass of sparkling wine and a laser show.
Line-Up
A-LO (aka Anne Lorenz) tirelessly explores new musical paths. She has long been known in the global bass scene, is a radio host at Cosmo and a member of the Cologne collective Domingo de Cumbia.
EL MAGNÍFICO gives the traditional Cumbia sounds his special and powerful magic touch. The vinyl and music lover, originally from Guatemala, is based in Cologne and is co-founder of the legendary Fiesta Domingo de Cumbia.
ANACAONA is an integral part of the Berlin music scene. The DJ, originally from Venezuela, spins wild Caribbean sounds through the night!
PAPO YOPLACK and his psychedelic cumbia promise one dance and one tear of joy after another. A journey into the Amazon and the Peruvian homeland of the Berlin-based DJ.
SELEKTOR BONY from Mexico and founder of Cumbia Fest Berlin brings rhythms from different times and parts of the world with him. With Latin & Tropical Beats influenced by Cumbia, Dub, Funk, Boogaloo and Cha-Cha-Cha, his sets are a musical spiral full of power, movement and lightness for all eternal travellers.
