Sewing colourful Easter bags, making recycled jewellery and designing Easter pop-up cards: twelve creative activities invite children aged 5 to 12 to try their hand at art. From Tuesday, 15 April, to Thursday, 24 April 2025, the Museum for Communication Berlin is offering a variety of holiday activities related to Easter.


Overview of the Easter holiday programme

Activities for children aged 5 to 8 years

(each day from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m.)

  • Tuesday, 15 April: Create colourful Easter letters with ink and quills.
  • Wednesday, 16 April: Make door signs with colourful prints as an invitation to the Easter Bunny.
  • Thursday, 17 April: Bouncing bunnies and chicks made out of paper to brighten up the Easter nest.
  • Tuesday, 22 April: Build your own pop-up theatre with a small Gallic village.
  • Wednesday, 23 April: Paint mini menhirs and lucky charms with creative motifs.
  • Thursday, 24 April: comic figures on paper rolls – Asterix conquers the museum.

Activities for children aged 9 to 12

(each day from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.)

  • Tuesday, 15 April: treasure maps and secret route maps for hidden Easter nests.
  • Wednesday, 16 April: Fabric recycling in the sewing workshop – Easter bags for the egg hunt.
  • Thursday, 17 April: Pop-up postcards for loving Easter greetings from Berlin.
  • Tuesday, 22 April: Creating a flip book with Asterix and Obelix.
  • Wednesday, 23 April: sustainable recycled jewellery inspired by Gallic traditions.
  • Thursday, 24 April: designing a mini comic book about Roman adventures.


Additional information
The participation fee is €1.50 plus museum admission for adults (free admission for those under 18 years of age).
