TWO CHOIRS - ONE STAGE
With a lot of joy and passion, the New Jazz Choir Berlin interprets sophisticated arrangements of jazz choir literature, selected pop songs - for example by Sting - and lively samba numbers.

Since its founding in October 2012 in Berlin-Kreuzberg, the choir has brought together 18 highly motivated singers from all over the capital. Choir director Caroline Krohn places particular emphasis on phrasing, timing and groove and an energetic, balanced and enjoyable choir sound.
Double concert of the New Jazz Choir Berlin and "Singing me happy"
"Singing me happy" is a cheerful a cappella ensemble of 16 women and men who love melodious vocal music and enjoy the process of creation. Their love belongs to jazz. For them, music has to groove, swing, or go straight to the heart.
So there are many jazz standards in unusual arrangements in our repertoire. With rhythmically complicated Latin songs and touching jazz ballads, they bring variety to their selection.
In this year 2025, the year of the voice and singing, “Singing me happy” is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
