Dotan has always used music as a form of expression, a way to discover the feelings hidden in the corners of his mind. A songwriter with humble beginnings, he played bars and put on living room shows a decade ago to fund and promote his debut album.

DOTAN
Unlike his previous, darker work, his latest collection, Songs, is inspired by the light. He drew inspiration from the music he listened to with his father as a child, including artists like James Taylor, Neil Young and Cat Stevens.
While working on his upcoming album, Dotan developed a healthier relationship with music. He realized that music can be joyful and bright, that it can inspire and celebrate life. And that discovery is at the core of Dotan's upcoming album, a folk-influenced record that tells stories of happier chapters in his life and looks forward to what's to come.
