Composing songs that deeply touch both you and your listeners is, in a way, a matter of luck. Writing lyrics that speak to people's hearts is a stroke of luck. And when both come together, that's when truly moving nuances emerge. It's impossible to plan, at least not for a band like DONOTS.

But "Allein zu allein" is such a stroke of luck, where everything went hand in hand. With their new single, DONOTS announce an acoustic tour titled "Schwert aus Holz" (Sword of Wood).
The band on their new single: "Even in the early stages of recording, the entire studio staff had a pleasantly thick lump in their throats and several moist eyes – not because Guido was cooking garlic with garlic at the kitchen counter again, but because the truly right words meet the perfectly set feeling – the moment of sudden calm in the first chorus is an example here." The song also plays all the trump cards and calling cards of our acoustic album with incredible ease, which is why it practically committed itself to the opening position on "Sword of Wood."
