K-Beauty workshop at the Korean Cultural Centre

Clear, fine-pored skin with a healthy glow - last year, the beauty world was all about glass skin. South Korea, a country famous for its skincare products, was at the forefront of this trend.

But if you're looking for the ultimate glow, you shouldn't just rely on hyped products. Because beauty comes from within - according to the philosophy of Berlin-based K-Beauty studio soonsu.

In a 1.5-hour workshop, certified beautician Goeun Choi and her business partner Carla Schwarting from the soonsu team will give an introduction to the world of K-Beauty: they will introduce traditional Korean skin care concepts, give holistic tips for a fresh look and explain the connection between mental well-being and radiant skin.

After the theoretical part, participants will have the chance to make a face mask for their skin type using natural ingredients and take it home with them. All the techniques and beauty rituals presented in the workshop are easy to implement and can be easily integrated into everyday life.

This workshop is organised by the Korean Cultural Centre and takes place in cooperation with soonsu.

The workshop includes:

  • Introduction to K-Beauty: Balance, Nature and Mindfulness (incl. Q&A)
  • Demonstration of hands-on facial massage to stimulate blood circulation
  • Making a sheet mask from natural ingredients for all skin types (rice for all skin types, yulmu for dry skin, mud from the city of Boryeong for oily, acne-prone skin)
