With the new production of Diva Berlin in her first season as artistic director, Alina Gause now also introduces herself to the audience of THEATER IM PALAIS Berlin as artist Alina Lieske. In her solo musical theater evening, the Berliner takes a look at her hometown: critical, humorous and tender at the same time.

What is the basis of the deep love of the Berliners for themselves and their hometown? How does the rest of the world see it? What was life like with the Wall? And what really happened on 9.11.1989?
In their stories and songs, which reflect the wit, violence(iness) and pulse of this city, Berlin is not a dazzling metropolis, not the subject of picturesque zillestube songs, but a condition, a conviction, an attitude towards life.
