A production by Thomas Sutter based on the novel by Tore Tungodden (9+)
Hannah's father is to organize the election campaign for the newly formed "Voice of the Future" party. The elections to the Norwegian Parliament are imminent and the party wants to put a child at the head of the government - his daughter Hannah!
The 12-year-old girl can not really take this project seriously at first, but soon the (media-driven) public is thrilled with her because she straightway says what she thinks. When Hannah is actually chosen after several complications, the adventure politics starts right, because now they must put together a cabinet and design a government program. The staging allows topics such as visions of the future of a democratic society, right up to the right to vote for children, to be discussed in a child-friendly way and offers an excellent introduction to parliamentary democracy. At the same time, the staging unites all the aspects that are important to us at the ATZE Music Theater: to show children the world in all its facets, to strengthen their backs and encourage them, to get involved and to stand up for their wishes and needs. The blog is aimed at children and deals with the central themes of staging: co-determination of children and future visions for a democratic society. There are many possibilities for children to participate: they can, among other things, send in their ideas and wishes for their school, their city and the world. So that the voice of the future counts!
