Die Höchste Eisenbahn is back – and in 2025, they sound like the year 1999 that people in 1925 imagined: skyscrapers and flying steam carriages. Just half a song live is enough to feel why these four Berliners are missed so much.

The band has had a six-year hiatus – a long time, but one that passed quickly due to the coronavirus pandemic and solo projects. Max Schröder made music with Olli Schulz, Francesco Wilking with the Crucchi Gang, Moritz Krämer with the sad lobsters and the cowardly beauty. Felix Weigt became a podcaster and was actually about to give up music.

But now, suddenly, a big fall tour is looming for Die Höchste Eisenbahn. And is that even talking about "new music"? 2025 will be more exciting for Die Höchste Eisenbahn than kissing – and that's saying something.
