A musical manifesto for democracy
In an extraordinary concert, a Berlin concert pianist and a Hamburg lawyer, who has embarked on a second career as a violinist/singer, explore the profound connection between democracy and music. Both artists performed on international stages for over ten years with the renowned quartet Salut Salon.
Their program, "Demokratìa Project," includes their own songs and chansons as well as classical works by Beethoven, C. Schumann, Mozart, Rameau, and Piazzolla, among others. Using musical gems—such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony—and deeply personal texts, they explore the development of freedom and human rights.
A musical manifesto for democracy and love!
