Davide Provenzano (DáS) is an Italian musician, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer living in Berlin. After graduating and receiving his master's degree in classical trumpet in 2012, he moved to Berlin, driven by a strong desire to expand his musical knowledge and experience.
For the first five years (2013-2018), Davide Provenzano played as a trumpeter and singer with the band "Maurizio Presidente!", which took him to many Berlin clubs (Yaam, Ritter Butzke, Neue Heimat, KaterHolzig, etc.) as well as on tours through European countries and festivals such as Fusion, Wilde möhre, RudolfStadt fest, Bern Buskers Festival, Festa do Avante, and Stramu, to name a few.
He has collaborated with other artists from Berlin's active scene, such as Alice Phoebe Lou, Harry Charles, Olmo, and Romano Licker, and was an active member and contributor to the transcultural non-profit organization "Artistania." From 2017 to 2019, he also deepened his knowledge of jazz music by studying at the JIB (Jazz Institute Berlin) for two years. Since 2021, he has focused more on his own music, a melting pot of all the experiences he has gained over the past 10 years.
His live music, in which he utilizes instruments such as trumpet, flugelhorn, loop station, several synthesizers, percussion, and lyrical voices, is a dreamy, mystical journey that transports the audience into a timeless bubble of different dimensions and emotions.
Katrine Bregnum
Katrine Bregnum (Kat Polar) is a Danish-born, Berlin-based dancer, choreographer, musician, and singer whose work combines dance, music, and new media. Since graduating in 2015, Kat has worked with immersive, interdisciplinary experiences that blur the boundaries between sound, movement, and technology.
In 2023, she was a resident at Dock Digital's (Dock11) AR Lab, where she explored choreography and sound design in augmented reality, collaborating with technologies such as AR Leap headsets, motion capture suits, Kinect, and more. Kat Polar's ongoing audiovisual collaboration with media artist Rahul Sharma has brought her performances to venues such as Studio 1111 and the Alte Münze.
As a solo artist, Kat Polar explores the polarities of sound, blending dark, industrial textures with moments of softness and vulnerability. Her music is a dynamic blend of distorted kicks, bass-heavy grooves, and ethereal vocals interwoven with elements of noise, breakbeats, and downtempo.
At a Kat Polar performance, audiences can expect hypnotic soundscapes and infectious grooves featuring extended vocal techniques, combined with a tapestry of electronic and acoustic instruments, field recordings, and layers of textured bass lines. Her work invites listeners into a space where heaviness, intensity, and intimacy coexist.
