How can everyday life succeed when it is overshadowed by war? In the summer of 2024, OSTKREUZ photographer Johanna-Maria Fritz traveled for several days to the Darnytsia district in Kyiv, which has been a partner district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg since 2022.
