Daniel Weltlinger (*1977 in Sydney) is an Australian-Hungarian jazz violinist and has long been highly praised worldwide for his unmistakable warm sound and innovations in the field of gypsy swing, jazz, Yiddish klezmer and experimental, freely improvised music.


He plays with renowned musicians and ensembles, including the Sinti guitarist Lulo Reinhardt, the Yiddish interpreters Karsten Troyke and Sharon Brauner and the Moka Efti Orchestra.

With his quartet he presents a program with the music of Django Reinhardt as well as some of his own compositions in the swing style.
