Akinbode Akinbiyi (*1946 Oxford, Great Britain) receives the Hannah Höch Prize 2024. Akinbiyi, who has lived and worked in Berlin since 1991, explores the world's metropolises for his street photography. Lagos, Bamako, Berlin or Durban - the urban space is his workplace.

In einer gläsernen Auslage in der Mitte des Ausstellungsraums liegen Fotobücher. Im Hintergrund sind verschiedene Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografien an den pastel-rosa und pastel-blauen Ausstellungswänden zu sehen.
With around 120 photographs from various long-term series, the solo exhibition provides an insight into the extensive work of the internationally renowned photographer and author.
