Galerie Thomas Schulte is expanding its programme with the opening of a second exhibition space in the Mercator-Höfe on Potsdamer Strasse, in addition to its existing address on Charlottenstrasse.

Located in the immediate vicinity of numerous other galleries, the new gallery spaces, in a former apartment in a period building with historical details, offer not only an increase in exhibition space but also the opportunity to give additional impulses and possibilities for engagement to the artistic discourse within the framework of the gallery programme.

The opening will be largely shaped by the exhibition of the German-Chilean painter Cosima zu Knyphausen (1988), whose works will be shown to a broad public in Berlin for the first time.

In addition, a neon work by Alfredo Jaar (1956) will be presented on the facade of the building.
