Jaspar Libuda makes the huge string instrument sing. Plucked and bowed, from the lowest to the highest notes, he produces timbres reminiscent of the cello, Arabic lute or electric guitar.
What makes this concert special is that Jaspar Libuda plays a five-string double bass with a high C string that was specially made and tailored for him in Germany.
An event organised by the Friends of the Königin Luise Church association.
