The German-Czech duo has existed since 2020, has since played numerous concerts in Europe and Japan, and released the albums Kram (2022) and Hako (2024) on Ma Records. As part of artspring, KARM meets Berlin-based dancer Laura Siegmund for the first time.

Cora and Daniel Kartmann are second cousins and meet on an artistic level for the first time as part of artspring. Cora – trained and settled in Berlin in contemporary dance – and Daniel from Stuttgart – a regular guest in Berlin for many years as a percussionist and versatile sound artist – share common roots in Transylvania and a passion for interdisciplinary work. Improvisation, repetition, expression, and movement are the driving forces behind this first-ever musical and dance encounter.
