Multimediale Record Release Performance
Sibin Vassilev has been creating fantastic sound worlds for post theater for 20 years. The album POST THEATER MUSIC brings together a selection of pieces of music from this period in a newly arranged order for the first time. In the record release concert, sound architectures in a live mix meet live-prompted visuals from a generative AI and take the audience on a journey into the post theater universe, in which man and machine, predetermined and spontaneous, overlap.

AN ALBUM IS A WHITE BOARD FOR…
The interaction with the AI creates a common reaction to situations, scenes and themes of the plays. Even with identical prompts, generative AI does not deliver the same result twice - because it learns each time. The algorithm used remains a secret, while the artist who operates it is transparent. The audience experiences an unpredictable chain of events: from musical inspiration to human interpretation to machine processing.
AN ALBUM IS A WHITE BOARD FOR… is not just a record release concert, but also a media performance that reflects on working together with AI. Not in silence, but publicly. Not controlled and edited, but completely open to results.
